Chapter 1, Part 1
This piece is seperated into six chapters, which each seem to make up their own little book. So far, I am bored out of my mind from the beggining stages of the first chapter. It is primarily written by a boy named Roy Burgess, while informational pieces are added by the author. Throughout the first 20 pages Roy looks back on his past, and describes the scene as well as events circling his murder of his friend Kevin Gardner. While it may seem interesting, so far, the storyline is not very entertaining and does not have a whole lot of action. What appalled me the most, is that all he got out of the murder was a CD Player and some CD's. For the next 18 pages or so, I am looking foward to reading a more gripping story about his life on death row as a teenager.
